The Condor Departure Bolo Machete CTK3955-12.2HC is a machete with typical Bolo blade. A remarkable shape that is great for the more demanding tasks. When you look the handle you see that the edge is located a little lower. As such your movements will be extra powerful. The blade is made from 1075 carbon steel. This is a strong steel that is easy to sharpen, and can also take quite a beating. 1075, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle. The handle is made from walnut wood. It comes with a solid, leather sheath with a belt loop.
